What we do — and don't
- We do not verify identity in this prototype.
- Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
- Real-account Signals aren't end-to-end encrypted either. Expiry stops app access, not stored-record deletion; privileged infrastructure access is possible.
- We can't prevent screenshots.
- No app can guarantee safety. Meet in public and tell a friend.
Community standards
- Sabi is for sapphic women, nonbinary sapphics, and other gender-expansive sapphics. Respect each person’s identity and the words they use for themself.
- Respect self-identification. Bi and pan members belong here. Gender expression does not determine orientation. No misgendering or gatekeeping.
- Gender, orientation and expression are optional and hidden unless you choose to display each section. Sabi never infers identity from photos, names, pronouns or behavior and never uses these labels for ad targeting.
- Adults only. Report anyone who seems under 18.
- No harassment, hate, scams, or pressure to move off-app.
